It is going to be a hot day with a lot of running. If you havent already, I would start hydrating now.
I forgot to mention, if you wear your jersey to the game on friday you can get in for $5.
Also, do we have any parent that works in or with the landscaping industry? Part of using the practice field is helping maintain it. The athletic department is going to supply grass seed but we also need some dirt to level out some of the mud spots. Let me know if you or you know someone that can help us out.
Due to lack of available Louisville Refs we have been asked to reschedule our game against Ballard. Monday’s are middle school priority days, so the non league HS games are the last to get assigned. We will run a varsity only practice on monday. All JV kids that want to come get some extra work are welcome and we will put you in as needed.
This Friday (tomorrow) I will be suiting up for the Stickhorse game. I will be out at the beginning of practice but have to leave early.n The assistant coaches will run practice until 5 and then let everyone go home early or let you all hang and shoot for 30 mins.
One of the promotions for the game is a shaft raffle from Epoch Lacrosse. They need volunteers to help pass out the raffle tickets starting around 6pm at Freedom hall. The first 10 guys that reply to this email saying they can help will get into the game for free after they are done passing out raffle tickets.

This year we will not have a bus to the North Oldham games. Varsity plays at 5:30 and JV at 7:30, we want players to try to get to the games an hour before the start. I know this is difficult for the OC games, so please do the best you can. We will ask the varsity players to stay for at least the first quarter of the JV game to show support for the development of our program.
If you cannot get yourself to the game, please contact the coaches as soon as possible to make sure we have a way to get you there.
Reason for not getting a bus this year:
Last year we got a bus to North Oldham that was rode by 2 coaches and 2 players. This is because the bus they give us in only one way so most kids drive themselves or have their parents drive to watch the game too.
Great work on Saturday both with practice and the volunteer project on Saturday. Coming up this week:
Monday: Varsity only practice (other players welcome to come work individually at the far end of the field until 5:30)
Tuesday: JV only practice (other players welcome to come work individually at the far end of the field until 5:30)
Wednesday: Varsity and JV Games at North Oldham. LEAGUE GAME. Remember always pack both jerseys and be ready to use your time on the field to the fullest. Look for travel info in a later message.
Thursday: Whole team practice
Friday: Whole team practice. Stickhorse game vs Lehigh at 7pm. wear your jersey to get in for $5. I will let you all know if I am dressing or not.
Saturday: Home games vs Tates Creek. D2 opponent, possible state championship match up.
Monday 3/19: Home games vs Ballard. JEFFERSON CUP game. My bet is the winner of this game gets the cup again.
