News and Announcements
There are changes to the Calendar this week:
- Monday – Varsity only practice
- Tuesday – Whole Team Practice
- Wednesday – Varsity Only Practice
- Thursday – Day off for all. I will send out the info of the 3vs6 game that is going on this night once I have. We will play the winner. I encourage all who can to watch the game.
- Friday – JV only practice. Any Varsity players that are not going to Senior prom are asked to come out to practice. Any JV players going to prom are excused. Any players missing practice and attending prom are reminded that it is not an excuse to be tired and not prepared for Saturday’s game.
- Saturday – Once the seedings are set (right now 3 with be S. Oldham and 6 will either be Greenwood or Oldham County) I will work to get our Varsity game around noon and a JV game for after (around 2pm).
Make sure you are taking care of your preparations to be fully ready to earn success over these next two weeks.
Right now it looks like we will be #2 in the D2-West. Saturday’s and Tuesday’s game will be at the field of the higher seed. For Saturday’s game (5/12), we will host. This will be our senior game. We will also try to get the game in mid-day or earlier because I know some players have plans that evening. I also know that the night before is Senior prom. We need to make sure all players are well rested and ready to go on the 12th.

May 15 semifinals
May 18 finals (East v West) at Trinity
We play on soccer field behind school.
The best way to get to field is to turn on to Durrett Lane from Preston Hwy.
Take your second right onto Carroll and Take your first right which brings you by the field.
Right now plan on the Eastern games being JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7:15. I think Eastern wants to do their senior night. I have double checked because this is different from the original plan, but if I do not send anything else out plan on the times as is above.
Dunbar games friday night will be at Dunbar High School. We will have a school bus bringing the players, but due to high numbers it would be great if we could get some parents to meet the bus at the school at 4pm to bring some of the players equipment bags so we can use all the room on the bus for seats.
Here is the plan for weekend trip to Glasgow and Greenwood.
Bus loads at 7:45am and leaves at 8am from backside of Manual (near practice field) Bus will arrive at Glasgow HS football field at 1601 Columbia Ave in Glasgow at aproximately 9am CENTRAL time as we pick up an hour. Game is 10am CST. You take the Glasgow/cave City exit #53 from I-65. When arriving at the field take the left entrance where there is construction. Lunch is being arranged by Mike Healey and he will will tell you where the team will be eating. The club will pay for lunch for players & coaches. The team will then move onto Greenwood HS which is about 40 miles west off Glasgow. Greenwood HS is located at 5065 Scottsville Rd. Game time in Greenwood is 3:30CST. Team should be at field at aproximately 2:30CST. Assuming 2 hours for the game, the team will load the bus at 5:30cst which is 6:30EST and arrive back at Manual at about 8:30EST.The team will eat the sandwiches and other food on the return trip. If you are buying gatoraides – please do not buy RED.
